In celebration of Juneteenth, the Muhammad Ali Center is hosting our fourth annual Ali-Ville Creative Classic, a spoken word competition during our Juneteenth Community Free Day.

The Ali-Ville Creative Classic Spoken Word Competition recognizes the talents of local artists, builds community, and celebrates Black history during an admission-free day at the Muhammad Ali Center.

A selection of poets will be reading poems in the theme of “Juneteenth: Tell Us the Truth About Freedom.” The live competition will feature first, second, and third place winners judged by a panel of poetry and literary experts.

Admission is free as part of our Community Free Day on June 19.
