The Fourth Annual S.M.A.R.T. SummerFest Resource Fair, scheduled for June 4, 2025, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the HSC Quad.

The S.M.A.R.T. SummerFest is designed to engage and support our School of Medicine (SOM) staff and support staff. Attendees can look forward to:

• A vibrant resource fair, music, and dessert social
• Door prize giveaways and activities
• Vendor Bingo: Encouraging attendees to visit your table for a ticket to redeem a sweet treat!

We’re also continuing our on-site Community Engagement Project—a food drive to benefit the ELSB Commonwealth Credit Union Cardinal Cupboard food locker. This initiative allows us to make a meaningful difference while fostering community spirit.

In recognition of Juneteenth, BFSA has invited Lyric from Beyond the Shade to relay information (sexual heath, wellness, and safe practices); DoTerra Oils will participate as a vendor.

BFSA will also host a membership drive and relay Juneteenth information to the campus community and encourage registration for Juneteenth events/activities.
